REVIEW: Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer

Another product I picked up in America was this concealer by Kat Von D. I’ve heard so many great things about this concealer when I first started using products from this brand. I got it both in the shade Light 18 and Medium 22.

Both shades have a beige undertone which I prefer because concealers with a pink undertone tend to look ashy. At first I was a bit skeptical because the concealer felt quite thick when I swatched it in Sephora. Thicker consistencies tend to result in more creasing.

When I first tried it, I was quite surprised that despite being thicker than my usual concealer, it blended so smoothly. I applied it using a damp beauty blender (like always) and set it with my Ben Nye banana powder. I used it whilst on holiday when I was lacking a lot of sleep, and it covered my dark circles completely! I loved it so much!

Here I am (on the right) wearing Kat Von D concealer to brighten my under eyes.

Definitely worth the purchase, it was so good I had to purchase my sister and all my cousins one each. If you’re one who prefers lighter consistencies than this definitely isn’t the concealer for you, but if you don’t mind a heavier coverage, then go try this concealer!

Is there anything else you guys want me to try from the Kat Von D range?
