I was long due for a haircut, so I decided to go have a haircut in town. A friend of mine referred me to a barbershop called the Boys Club Barbershop, located at shop 141, Level 1, Adelaide Arcade. He had been hyping this place up, telling me I should check it out since they specialise in mens hairstyle. So here was my experience at BCB…
It’s been a while since Adelaide has been so lively and busy since the city usually sleeps by 9pm every night! But since OzAsia is here, there’s so many more places to go. For those who don’t know what OzAsia festival is, it’s literally just festivities dedicated to engaging with the Asian culture. There’s shows, night markets as well as a Moon Lantern Festival!
Foundation is quite a new product to me as I only started using it about three years ago. I went straight into high end foundations and only now, have I tried my first ever drug store foundation – Maybelline Fit Me! Dewy + Smooth. I chose Dewy + Smooth because I’m always after that glowy look. I feel that a matte finish always made me look dry, despite me having oily skin.
We both were having an awful day so we decided to treat ourselves with some Malaysian food. We headed to PapaRich to eat our favourite dishes just to make the night more enjoyable.
Phu Xuong is hands down the best Vietnamese bread roll place in Adelaide! When we have cravings for a nice crunchy pork roll, we always go to this place!
It was a seedy Sunday for her as she had a Law Ball the night before so we decided to have a nice relaxing day at the Market Shed on Holland Street. We’ve been having temperatures below 20 degrees (celsius) and finally, it was 29 degrees so we couldn’t spend it indoors at a restaurant. We wanted to go here to try their fresh foods while still enjoying the sun. The Market Shed is literally situated in a big shed, with lots of food stalls and fresh produce for sale, and the atmosphere was just so welcoming.
I just bought my first clothing from Witchery, and it was a great experience since I got my clothing at an incredible discount!
For readers who do not know this brand, Witchery is an Australian chain store specialising in women’s, men’s and children’s clothing along with shoes and accessories.
I always hear great reviews from women about this brand, saying how Witchery produces great quality clothing, and their design is sophisticated while stylish! So when I stumbled across a men’s store, I decided to go in and see what the praise was all about.
I was quite impressed with their selection of clothing. For the men’s selection, they were mainly casual wear. What drew my attention was the Wysteria Print Shirt. The patterns creates a vintage feel, printed with a broken vine design. I never had these pattern shirts before so it was a great addition to my wardrobe!
